Period Cornice Restoration & Repair in Walthamstow (E17)

Walthamstow is home to a wealth of beautiful period architecture, from classic Victorian terraces near the Village to characterful Edwardian properties across E17. Over decades, many of these historic ceiling features suffer from damage, lost detail due to heavy paint build-up, or structural cracks caused by structural movement and moisture. At Cornice Cleaning Ltd, we specialize in restoring original plasterwork back to its sharp, handcrafted condition, preserving the authentic period charm of your Walthamstow home.

Expert Paint Removal & Intricate Plaster Repairs

Thick layers of modern paint often fill in the fine floral and geometric detailing of historic plaster molding. Using gentle, effective paint removal methods and traditional craftsmanship, we carefully strip away decades of old paint without harming the delicate plaster beneath. Where cornices are chipped, cracked, or completely missing sections, our skilled restorers carefully reconstruct or remould matching sections on-site to ensure a seamless, invisible repair that blends perfectly with the original profile.
